• Course Cost:  $275.00 Payable to STHD via cash / check / credit card payable upon registration (receiving a class date).  You will be refunded, and you may re-schedule a class providing that you give STHD a seven (7) day cancellation notification  prior to the scheduled class start date and a fill-in applicant, paid in full, can be located.  Non-refundable otherwise or after class start date.  To re-schedule a class without the seven (7) day cancellation notification the full $275.00 must be re-paid. In any case, full payment is required prior to confirming your class date.
   

• Road Test Waiver (upon successful completion of course completion):  This means you will receive a completion card at the end of your class to take to DMV to get your motorcycle license. You will not have to take another road test through DMV. You must bring either a valid New York State Motorcycle Drivers license or a valid New York State Motorcycle learner's permit to the first day of class if you are a New York resident. If you are not a New York resident you must have a valid out of state license.
   

• Proper riding gear (you must provide the following):   Long non-baggy pants (jeans are best), over the ankle foot wear (construction boots, western boots, hiking boots or the like.  NO spike heels!), long sleeved shirt / jacket, eye protection (sunglasses, prescription eye wear, helmet face shield or the like), helmet that meets DOT requirements only, and full fingered leather gloves.
   

• Class Schedule Offerings:
       *Thursday 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm; Saturday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sunday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
           *Monday 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm; Tuesday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; Wednesday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
  Your slot will be filled with another student if you arrive late on Thursday or Monday evening with no exceptions.

• Location:  Southern Tier Academy of Riding, 1149 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.  Off Route 81 North, exit 5.

• Experience level:  Novice to experienced (applicant must be able to ride a bicycle).
   

• Weather:  Rain or shine, excluding thunderstorms.
   

• Class size:  12 students maximum.
   

• Riding speed:  Maximum 20 miles per hour.
   

• Motorcycle used:  Less than 350cc.
   

• Experienced Rider's Course:   Please call for further information
   

• Registration:  Southern Tier Harley-Davidson, or fill out this application and send or take it in.
